The agency had built a strong portfolio with referral-led growth, but the digital surface area did not reflect the depth of work being delivered. SEO was an underserved channel relative to the quality of the credentials.

The brief was to make Conquest Creatives the default organic answer for the kinds of B2B design queries their ideal client was already typing into Google.

Brief

B2B branding and design is a deceptively competitive SEO category. The agencies competing for these queries split into three rough buckets: large established agencies with significant domain authority, generic design agencies with broad service pages, and smaller specialists like Conquest Creatives with deep credentials but thin SEO foundation.

The opportunity was to win the category-specific queries that the larger agencies treated as one of many service lines and the generic agencies did not have the credentials to win:

  • Corporate Deck Design Agency

The approach was to win the high-intent specialist queries first and let the broader category visibility build from there.

Approach

Keyword strategy. Mapped each commercial service Conquest Creatives offered to its highest-intent commercial query, then built the page architecture around those query clusters. Long-tail queries (Corporate Graphic Design Prices, benefits of professional design services for businesses) handled at the blog and resource layer.

On-page SEO. Service pages rebuilt with disciplined H1/H2 structure, query-anchored intros, and substantive copy that gave Google clear topical signals. Meta titles and descriptions written for click-through rather than keyword stuffing — important in a category where the SERP is increasingly title-led. Internal linking architecture connected adjacent service pages so authority flowed across the cluster.

Content layer. Blog content designed around branding and design topics that B2B decision-makers actually search for — not the generic 5 design trends listicles that flood the category, but operationally useful pieces on briefing process, working with internal stakeholders, and translating brand strategy into deliverables. Case study pages on completed projects added portfolio-led depth.

Technical and off-page. Mobile-first responsive build, proper SSL and HTTPS, standard technical hygiene. Off-page work focused on selective guest posting in adjacent industry publications and building NAP-consistent local presence for Singapore-specific queries.

Result

By April 2024, Conquest Creatives was ranking on page 1 of Google for the priority commercial queries: Annual Report Design Agency, Booklet Design Agency, Food and Beverage Branding, Corporate Deck Design Agency, ESG Report Design Agency, Brand Theory, Mixed Branding, and other category-specific terms.

Beyond the planned target queries, the site also gained organic visibility for adjacent terms that emerged from project work — wayfinding company, Architectural Wayfinding, Automated Product Photography — that reflected real capabilities the agency had built through corporate partner collaborations but had not initially planned to target.

This second category of rankings is often the more valuable one in B2B. Enterprise buyers searching for Architectural Wayfinding are a small audience, but they are buying. Capturing those queries means the agency was being found by the right people for the right work.

Why this kind of work matters

The dominant pattern in B2B services SEO is to either ignore SEO entirely (relying on referral) or to chase head-term queries that look impressive but rarely convert.
